According to BMW, the Frozen Silver Edition M3 Coupe gets an equipment upgrade of as much as 9,000 quids from the standard M3. Only 100 of its kind will be made for BMW lovers in the United Kingdom and the first cars will be hitting the showrooms by the first of June.

The special edition M3 coupe will still be using the standard model’s 414 horsepower V8 powerplant mated to a 7 speed M DCT gearbox and a variable BMW M differential. It also comes with a 3-stage dampening control system, lower suspension, an improved DSC+ system, and a set of 19-inch alloy rims in matt black

The front of the special edition M3 Coupe features the metallic pain Frozen Silver from which the name is derived, exhaust in dark chrome, kidney surrounds and side gills, bonnet intake in Jet Black, and an exterior trim with High gloss shadowline.

For the interior, the seats get a Black Novillo leather treatment highlighted with contrast stitching. The armrests and the inserts make use of Palladium leather while the steering wheel is hugged by Alcantara. The styling is completed with the trim made in carbon fiber plus the plaque showing the number of the limited edition BMW.

The XF sedan was first introduced to the autoworld during the auto show in Frankfurt in 2007. This version of the XF was designed by Ian Callum and replaced the S Type. This XF was introduced to he US market in 2009. It was offered in two variants: a V8 4.2L and a supercharged version of the engine.

For the 2010 release, a more potent V8 5.0L powerplant was installed for the higher end versions of the XF.

This yea r is significant to Jaguar as the brand gives the XF lineup with a good number of upgrades. The new XF gets a facelift with redesigned fascia with significant revisions to the grille, hood, and quarter panels in front. The XF now uses LED lighting for the front and tail end replacing the usual incandescent lighting.

The interior was also improved for the 2012 model. The front seats were redesigned to give better support using a hoop feature. There are also additional switches which can be manipulated from the touchscreen to adjust ergonomic features.

There are no major revisions for the 2012 Supercharged Jaguar XF. The engine bay still holds the V8 5.0L with a Roots type supercharger. Aside from fuel injection, the aluminum powerplant also has variable timing for all of its four camshafts. The engine can give out 470 horsepower while revving at 6,000 rpm and boasts of a torque of 424 pound feet while at 2500 rpm. The engine is paired with the ZF 6HP26 gearbox, an automatic transmission setup with six speeds. The power though sacrifices the fuel mileage with the XF Supercharged returning 21 mpg for highway driving and 15 mpg when snaking thru city streets.

The XF Supercharged comes with a suspension system with adaptive dynamic technology as standard. The brakes are setup with twin piston calipers for the front and single piston calipers for the rear.

With its feature and promise the 2012 Supercharged Jaguar XF might battle it out fair and square with its German counterparts, and most likely, car enthusiasts might pick the British car to be their ride of choice on the luxury midsize sedan segment.

The Japanese car manufacturer does not want to officially comment about the validity of the FT-86 images but some sources say that they are actually real. The production version of the new Toyota FT-86 will have a small difference in terms of the exterior of the pictured vehicle. The major changes focus on toning down the design lines of the alloy rims and the vehicle’s bumpers. The design of the vehicle is also very close to the concept vehicle FT-86 II which was unveiled during the Geneva motor show.

The leaked images also give you a quick look of the cabin of the FT-86 which remains true with the promise of the carmaker to use a back to basics approach design for the coupe. The cabin is dominated by red and black featuring sports seats and a short throw gear stick for shifting the six speed manual transmission. There is also a button which might hint a push-to-start function.

The instrument cluster leads the eyes to the white rev counter that shows the red line at 7,500 rpm. The speed is noted at the speedometer on the left hand and also on a digital display in the center. The brochure though does not include technical details about the FT-86.

The final version for production of the Toyota FT-86 will be unveiled at the motor show in Tokyo this November ahead of its launch in Britain by summer of 2012.

The Toyota FT-86 targets enthusiast drivers and gets inspiration from the rear drive Corolla AE86 produced back in the 1980s. The FT-86 will sport an engine by Subaru that will be capable of giving out 200 bhp. The engine will be linked with a 6-speed manual transmission and will also feature a limited slip differential.

Toyota aims to slice off some weight from the older version and make the new FT-86 to hit the scales at 1100 kilograms or about 200 kilos lighter than a Scirocco of Volkswagen. The sticker price is still to be confirmed but it might be close to around £20,000.

Dr. Klaus Draeger is a member of BMW’s Board of Management. He confirmed that the brand will face serious competition in its premium cars line up. Draeger expressed that BMW will face this challenge with much vigor. It seems that the return of the DTM concept car shows that the German carmaker is looking back to its past of producing race cars.

When the 2012 M3 DTM Concept Car images were revealed, two champion drivers from the BMW Motorsport—Augusto Fafus and Andy Priaulx—were also introduced. The BMW Welt, which is the BMW multifunction exhibition facility in Munich, features the BMW M3 DTM Concept Car.

The BMW M3 DTM Concept Car comes with a V-8 Engine with 480 ponies and runs from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3 seconds. The top speed figure is 300 km/h. This new baby will get a 6-speed manual transmission and a CFRP monococque chasis.

The luxury carmaker BMW has three teams ready to race this season, they are the BMW Team RMG, the BMW Team RBM, and the BMW Team Schnitzer. Along with other BMW sponsors and partners, the three race teams work closely to tweak the M3 DTM race car to perfection in preparation for the upcoming race season.

The engine was tested on the UK roads while on a north-south configuration which is also a first time for Jaguar. The new diesel unit has a turbocharger that makes use of low-friction pistons and is water-cooled, new injectors, and a new crankshaft. The configuration of the powerplant paved the way for Jaguar engineers to incorporate an oil pan and electronic systems which adds to the efficiency of the Stop-Start feature of the engine.

The Intelligent system for the Start-Stop avoids the hassle of a prolonged shut down to start up which is a common occurrence with such systems. The engine requires shorter time to restore the power of the engine because of the new system which makes use of new sensors and fuel pressure holding technology. This saves the driver all the frustration when stopping the car on a busy intersection and having to go quickly again but the car takes time to restart. The start-Stop functions saves around 5% to 7% of fuel.

Aside from the new 2.2L, the prototype also features a ZF 8-speed automatic gearbox. The new transmission gives way to effortless cruising and power delivery in demanding road or driving conditions. The development car can swiftly go from 0 to 62 miles per hour in just 8.5 seconds. The top speed is pegged at 140 mph.

The new engine will be fitted to the future production XF models with the sale date to be announced possibly during the auto show in New York.

The special model is derived from the new Challenger R/T that runs on a HEMI V8 powerplant with 5.7L displacement. Mopar which is the accessories and parts arm of the Chrysler group injects a number of performance and cosmetic enhancements to the car.

The Mopar enhancements gives the Challenger a sinister look which magnets attention. The Mopat 2010 Challenger comes with cold air intake, hood-venting system, strut tower brace for the front and back to stiffen the chassis and improve the handling, and a unique cover for the engine.

The Mopar ’10 Dodge Challenger comes in black finish with strips of silver, red, or blue matching the interior accents. The Challenger rolls on 20 inch rims in gloss back finish. Other exterior elements include vented hood, vintage pins on the hood, custom grille, and Mopar logos all over.

The next video is another tale (sorry for the spoiler but I really just can’t hold it any longer). The Bugatti Veyron might have a sticker price of 2 dozen GT-R but a win is a win. Maybe the Nissan had a magic power or something or maybe the Veyron had lost its engine along the way. No idea but the Nissan GT-R was able to do it!
